Privacy Policy
Plastic Prowl ("we," "us") operates a credit-card benefit and luxury-hotel-credit discovery tool. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. We aim to collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Account info: your email address and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
- Your card wallet: the names/types of credit cards you choose to add (e.g. "Amex Platinum") and which benefits you mark as used. We do not collect or store your credit-card numbers, card login credentials, or any access to your financial accounts. Nothing here lets us see your transactions or charge your cards.
- Payment info: if you subscribe, payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We receive a subscription status and a customer reference — we do not store your full card number.
- Usage: basic, privacy-respecting logs (e.g. pages loaded, errors) to keep the service running and secure.
Cookies & advertising
We use a single first-party cookie to keep you signed in. Free accounts may see ads served by Google AdSense, which uses cookies to show relevant ads; you can control these in Google's Ads Settings. Premium subscribers see no ads. We don't run other third-party advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To run your account, card wallet, and benefit tracker.
- To process subscriptions and send service emails (receipts, password resets, and — if you opt in — benefit reminders).
- To keep the service secure and improve it.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us operate (e.g. our payment processor and email provider), and only as needed. We may share information if required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

Some outbound links to card issuers or travel sites may include an affiliate tag, which may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Your choices
You can update your cards, mark benefits, or delete your account at any time. To request access to or deletion of your data, email us at [email protected].
Security
Passwords are hashed (scrypt), sessions are protected, and traffic is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Plastic Prowl is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
